  • How much does it cost?

    Cost is $12 per child ages 1-12. Adults and children under the age of 1 are free. Please limit the number of accompanying adults to 2. 

  • What are your hours?

    Hours are listed on the home page! They are also listed in the reservation schedule at the bottom of the page. Current Hours: Mon -Sat 9 am -12 pmTuesday and Thursday Afternoons from 1-4 pmPrivate Party Times Scheduled via Email 

  • How can I make a reservation?

    See the calendar at the bottom of this page! You can select the date and time you wish to come and you will be directed to checkout through a secondary app called Care.com. You will be asked to create a login to sign up that will be saved for future use.   Please make sure you reserve a spot for EVERY CHILD BETWEEN THE AGES OF 1-12 who is in your family. YOU WILL NEED TO ENTER THE NAME, BIRTH DATE, AND GENDER OF EACH CHILD IN ORDER TO RESERVE THEIR SPOT. 

  • Do I have to have a reservation in order to play?

    No. You do not have to have a reservation. However, due to the limited number of guests we are allowing in at one time, we encourage you to make a reservation in order to guarantee your spot. You are more than welcome to call us beforehand or simply drop in anytime to see if there is space for you to play!

  • If I already have a membership, do I need to make a reservation?

    No, reservations are encouraged to ensure your spot, however, walk in anytime! You do not need to pay for an individual ticket as that is already included in the cost of your pass!   • Do my kids and I need to wear a mask?

    We follow state guidelines, see NC state guidelines. We encourage following the CDC guidelines for masks.

  • What health precautions are you taking?

    We have established more strict cleaning and sanitizing measures on top of our regular procedures to ensure that all toys and surfaces get disinfected and cleaned throughout the day! For full details on how we are ensuring your safety, please see the Covid updates on our home page!

  • What social distancing practices have you put in place?

    To ensure the safety of our guests, we are limiting the number of children and adults that are in the building at any time. 

  • Is food allowed?

    Due to allergy concerns, we do not allow outside food to be brought into The Playhouse. For liquids, please bring them in a cup with a closed lid. 

  • Do I need to sign a form in order to bring my kids?

    Yes! Please fill out the permission waiver on our "Forms" page before you come to make that first playtime smooth and simple! 

Now opening weekday afternoon reservations for private groups!On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, you can reserve the entire museum from 1pm-4pm for $240. Simply email us to discuss your desired date so we can be certain to staff accordingly!
